A group of 60 people, which included 40 novice juvenile Vale of Atholl Pipe band members and learners, 10 tutors and 10 parents/mini bus drivers, headed to Rowardennan Youth Hostel in mid February for a weekend of hard practice and fun.

“It was a busy weekend filled with sessions on pipes and drum maintenance and a lot of chanter, piping and drumming tuition and drum majoring sessions,” reported Gillie McNab.

“Robert Mills Venue Catering came up trumps again with lots of lovely meals and once again we were blessed with a sunny weekend,” she added appreciatively.
