Fiddle Tree's May Concert Details
Tim Edey, from Broadstairs in Kent, is regarded by many to be one of the best all-round musicians of his generation on the worldwide Celtic Music Scene. He is a master of more than ten instruments including melodeon, accordeon, guitar, banjo, bass, piano, mandolin, whistle, bodhran and bouzouki. Tim has appeared on the Jools Holland Show and has worked with a number of Ireland's top performers including Sharon Shannon, Mary Black and, of course, Frankie Gavin. The Birnam concert starts at 8.00 p.m. and there will be no support act. Tickets are available in advance from the hotel (727462), Birnam CD (727158) and Zigzags in Dunkeld (728666). The Poozies The band is undertaking a special, short UK tour with - for the first time - a five-piece line-up which will include both founder member / sensational singer Sally Barker and fiddler Eilidh Shaw, recently returned to the fold after taking a year out on maternity leave. Another evening not to be missed. For more information on The Fiddle Tree's 2007 programme, visit www.thefiddletree.com.
