PFT New Winter Season

Pitlochry Festival Theatre has announced its fifth Autumn-Winter-Spring Programme of events to run from October 2007 to April 2008.

“Our Winter Seasons have grown in popularity with each passing year, with events like Perthshire Amber and Winter Words becoming firm fixtures in Scotland’s cultural calendar” said John Durnin, PFT’s Chief Executive and Artistic Director.

He continued: “This Season, we have an outstanding programme which we know will prove attractive not just to local audiences, but also to visitors from right across the UK. Whatever the season, Pitlochry always offers a combination of wonderful entertainment, stunning landscapes and Highland hospitality, so it’s the perfect destination for a night out or a short break with friends and family, or for groups looking for that special event.”

The season starts with an expanded Perthshire Amber Festival, featuring five headline concerts from Dougie MacLean over two weekends, and including appearances from The Tannahill Weavers and The Paperboys, the first live performance of The Search, and a host of daytime events from workshops and talks to open mic sessions.
