Choral Society: New Season Dates
Saturday 1 December 10 am.-12pm. - Coffee morning with Home Baking and Stalls at The Tryst, Pitlochry Church of Scotland.
Sunday 9 December at 7.30pm. - Christmas Concert in Pitlochry Church of Scotland: ‘Magnificat’ by John Rutter, conducted by Andrew Tillett, accompanied by John Walker. Soprano soloist: Gemma Chance
Christmas would not seem the same without one of Rutter’s works lilting in the frosty air. ‘Magnificat’ is the song of Mary’s delight at becoming a mother. This will be followed by a sequence of seasonal readings by Jane Nelson Peebles and carols for choir and audience that we hope will bring widespread comfort and joy. |
