Bruce's Return Engagement
Of the many highlights from his appearances on three continents, Bruce rates his two solo concerts at the United Nations, New York as probably the most special … so far! He has a long list of radio and television credits, including BBC Songs of Praise, where he sang and spoke of his Faith with Isla St Clair. This ‘Songs for the Season’ concert features Christian and secular Christmas favourites as well as other winter classics. This appearance in Grandtully follows the release of his 16th album on the Rothes Recordings label,' Livin’ To Love, Lovin’ to Live.’ It’s a collection of the best of his most recent compositions and standards from the folk field and beyond. Its gentle acoustic sound has received much critical acclaim. The audience at Grandtully Village Hall can expect to hear music from it, as well as material drawn from a repertoires that has developed over his 23 years as a full time performer, when he makes a welcome return for his seasonal concert at Grandtully Village Hall on Saturday 8 December at 7.20pm. Tickets are priced at £5 and include a glass of wine/coffee and shortbread and are available at the door, at Wades Newsagents, Bank Street, Aberfeldy or by calling 01887 820826.
