Black Umfolosi at Birnam
The Fiddle Tree’s 2007 concert series ends in the finest style in November with a visit by the amazing singing and dancing group Black Umfolosi 5, from Zimbabwe.
The quintet’s Birnam stopover comes towards the end of a massive European tour - lasting for several months - to celebrate this, their 25th anniversary year.
The group, much loved around the world, offers its sweet sounds of acapella with marvellous harmonies and gospel singing, as well as captivating dancing including the gumboot dancing of South Africa. |
