Vale's Northern Ireland Trophies

The Robert Wiseman Dairies Vale of Atholl Grade 1 and Novice Juvenile Bands were across in Ballymena, Northern Ireland for the British Pipe Band Championships and both bands came home triumphantly with trophies.
The Grade 1 band came fifth overall, with a second place in drumming. This was a tremendous achievement, beating some of the all-time greats such as Shotts and Dykehead and Strathclyde Police.
The novice band was equally pleased to get a fourth place and both bands are looking forward to the European Championships which take place on the 28 July in Inverness.
