Castle's Summer Celtic Evenings
Three Celtic Evenings with the Pitlochry & Blair Atholl Pipe Band will once more be hosted by Blair Castle in July and August.
The first event will be held on Wednesday 18 July, and the following two events will take place on Wednesdays 1 and 15 August. They will include highland dancing and music from Scotland, Ireland, Brittany, Asturia and Galicia, played on the forecourt outside the historic castle (wet weather venue will be the castle’s ballroom).
Tickets will be on sale on the night and cost £6 for adults, £3 for concessions and accompanied children are free. The events will begin at 7.15pm and gates will open from 6.00pm. Blair Castle’s Tullibardine Restaurant will be open as |

The Celtic Evenings are part of a busy year for the Pitlochry & Blair Atholl Pipe Band. Led by Pipe Major Christy Kelly, the band currently leads the Grade 3a Champions Table after gaining second place in both the Scottish and British Championships recently.
Between the first and second Celtic Evenings the band will fly out to Asturia in Northern Spain to take part in a 10 day Celtic Festival in the town of Avilés, where Scottish performers ‘Capercaillie’ and ‘Red Hot Chilli Pipers’ will also play.
